Conference Overview

This Connecticut statewide conference will bring together experts in the field of addiction and substance use to discuss approaches to reduce risk for those who struggle with an opioid use disorder. Keynote speakers Van Asher and Sharon Stancliff, MD, will challenge the definition of recovery and present innovative ways to address the opioid crisis. Five breakout sessions in the morning and five in the afternnoon will pay particular attention to the roles of community organizing, clinical work, first responders, prevention, and adolescent substance use.

Audience

This behavioral health and opioid treatment conference is estimated to have 300 attendees. The attendees range from mental health and substance use professionals as well as those community organizers and first responders.

Vendor Table Times

  • 7am – 7:45am - vendor arrival and set-up

  • 8am – 9am – participant sign-in and breakfast begin

  • 10:30am – 10:45am – participant break

  • 11am – 12pm – vendor lunch (details to follow, vendor lunch is provided before participant lunch so vendors can be at their tables available for participants during their lunch)

  • 2:45pm – 3pm – participant break

  • 3: 30pm – 4:30pm – vendor breakdown and clean up

Includes deli style meals and a maximum of 2 staff members.

  • Vendor Table - Pay Online = Paying with Card $250 + Service Fee

  • Vendor Table - Mail Payment = If you are paying by purchase order or check you should select this option, then follow-up by sending $250 by mail.

What is Provided

The tables are provided with tablecloths. You will have your organization name on your table. All of your staff names must be included in this application. You will receive a badge and your meals are included. You are welcome to bring brochures and handouts, however, we are not responsible for printing copies. There is a business center at CT Convention Center.

  • Tables are assigned by staff and may not be moved.

  • Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

  • You will adhere to CT Convention Center policies for exhibitors

  • By registering for any event with the CWC you agree to our registration and privacy policies.

Parking

A parking garage is attached to the Connecticut Convention Center. Oversized vehicles can be accommodated on an on-site surface parking lot. ​Please contact LAZ Parking at (860) 728-2598 for questions about handicap accessible parking. Discount coupons for conference guests from 7am - 4:30pm are for $11.
